Ameer-e-Halqa, Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana and Orissa, Mr. Hamed Mohammed Khan in a press note said that Indian Constitution had given complete freedom to all its citizens to practice their religion and culture. Besides it was also mentioned in the constitution that India would be a secular state. State would have no religion, government and government institutions would neither follow any religion nor would force anyone to do so. Hence using government resources and powers to strengthen or promote any particular religion or culture was against Indian constitution. Any such act would be violation of Indian constitution.
Mr. Hamed Mohammed Khan appealed all justice-loving citizens, organisations, institutions and parties to begin united movement to protect Indian constitution.
