Compulsion of 35% marks in Telugu will reduce pass percentage of Muslim students

Muslims are the most educationally backward community of India. Many Muslim girls are forced to leave education due to poverty and very low number remains till they reach SSC. In this scenario if it is made compulsory to secure minimum 35 percent marks in Telugu to pass SSC exam instead of earlier 20, then it will reduce pass percentage of Muslim students. This new rule was enforced by Congress government of united Andhra Pradesh since then the decision has become a cause of stress for minority students.

This has also become a trial for present government. Organization of Private School Management had also strongly opposed the decision of previous Congress government and declared that the decision is anti-minority. In this situation it is the responsibility of present Telangana government to revise the rule and restore earlier rule for pass marks in Telugu.
