Comprehensive strategy to avoid split of secular votes needed, says Sharad Yadav to Siasat reporter

Hyderabad: It is not possible to have midterm polls in India since the present government is greedy of power and it cannot be without power even for a day. The present ruling party has become a danger to the democratic setup of this country. It is, therefore, the duty of the people to dislodge such rulers. It is certain that Muslims won’t vote BJP but BJP will get power by splitting their votes.
These thoughts were expressed by senior JD (U) leader, Mr. Sharad Yadav while talking to staff reporter of Siasat. He stressed the need for secular forces to get united.
He pointed out that in 2014 the party which polled only 31% votes got power whereas 69% voters did not vote it. Mr. Yadav further told that the upper caste people have crushed the depressed classes but now RSS is pleasing backward classes. He further told that BJP has failed on all fronts. It is, therefore, trying to please the depressed classes. He insisted that with the unity of Muslims and depressed classes, the split of votes could be checked.
