Complete T-debate by Jan 23: Dilip Kumar

MLC Dilip Kumar on Sunday demanded that the State Legislative Council wind up the debate on State Reorganisation State by January 23 and send it to the Centre with its views.

Participating in the debate on the Telangana Bill in the Council, Dilip Kumar said that Hyderabad State was already a developed State much before the formation of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, he said that the claim of Seemandhra people on bringing development to Hyderabad was wrong. He also described the tales of atrocities of Nizam Government as false and baseless.

Dilip Kumar condemned that tearing and burning of copies of draft Telangana Bill. He also demanded that Hyderabad should be the joint capital of both the States only two year and not 10 year as proposed in the Bill. Further, he said that the High Court should be separated for both the States immediately after the formation of Telangana State. He said that the Seemandhra leaders should focus on building their new capital and leave Telangana at the earliest. (INN)
