Hyderabad, January 08: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy directed officials to complete works of Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) Phase-I and the Guru Raghavendra Project on priority to ensure release of water for kharif 2011. Participating in a review meeting here, he asked officials to sort out all pending issues relating to HNSS within a week with the help of the technical committee.
He also wanted completion of land acquisition for HNSS Phase-II at the earl ies t apar t from sorting out issues relating to the railways and NHAI on the same. Major irrigation minister P Sudarshan Reddy, revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy, special chief secretary J Satyanarayana, principal secretaries SK Joshi, RR Mishra and Adityanath Das attended the meeting.
