The harassment of the corporate hospitals are on the increase day by day. The facts about the exorbitant rates of charges collected by these hospitals are coming to limelight. The victims of harassment of corporate hospitals are forced to approach police and Human Rights Commission for seeking justice.
One such incident came to limelight about the complaint lodged by Mr. Anu whose husband was admitted in a corporate hospital at Moazzam Jahi Market on 13th June. She alleged that hospital authorities are neglecting the guidelines of Arogyashree Scheme and the doctors of this hospital have played with the health of her husband Mr. K. Dayanand.
Human Rights Commission gave a patient hearing to her complaint and issued orders to the District Medical and Health Officer of Hyderabad to enquire and submit a report before 18th July.
When Ms. Anu approached Abids Police Station on 16th June, her petition was refused. She then sent it by registered post.
She demanded the Government to take action against this corporate Hospital. These facts were revealed in a press conference organized by Human Rights Association.
