Sadly, despite continuous efforts by the media to call their attention, the high officials of the concerned departments are heedless towards the matter.
Situation is very disparaging especially in areas where water is supplied though Chandulal Baradari filter. According to the locals they are facing a number of problems pertaining to drinking water supply for the past one month. The water is supplied alternate day and the pressure is also very low.
When the complaint is made with the concerned department the officials give several excuses and adopt dilly-dallying approach. Instead of resolving the problem they start quizzing the complainant himself; What is your house number? Have you brought the bill? Have you paid the bill and so on.
