Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Pratipati Pullarao has said dates for accepting complaints on farmers loan waiver has been extended till May 25.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Pullarao said the special cell created for this purpose has received 4.15 lakh complaints from farmers about their loan waiver problems. The government has screened 3.30 lakh complaints, of which, 2.5 lakh complainants were found to be eligible for loan waiver, the minister said, adding that complaints were received due to some problems of Aadhar cards, ration cards and we are expecting to get another one lakh complaints in this regard.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wanted to waive off loans to every farmer, he said and alleged that “Rytu Bharosa Yatra” of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is a farce and he was trying to deceive gullible farmers.
