Complaint against MFC, Minority Welfare officers party to the complaint

A complaint has been lodged against Minority Welfare and Minority Finance Corporation in Andhra Pradesh Lok Ayukt which has been accepted for hearing. A social worker lodged a complaint producing evidences regarding irregularities prevalent in the Department and Corporation. Secretary Minority Welfare and Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation have been made party to the complaint.

The petition states that complaints have been received regarding high level corruption involved in sanction of loans by the Corporation and only a particular group is benefited by the scheme. Enquiry by senior officer has been demanded.

The complainant also complained about the activities of retired General Manager of Minority Finance Corporation and his interference in Corporation affairs.

The petitioner pointed out that State Public Information Officer of the Corporation while answering to a question had made it clear that there is no provision of re-appointment of retired persons; despite that the said retired person has been interfering into the affairs of the Corporation for 3 months which is illegal.
