Complaint lodged with police against cheating Waqf Board staff

Hyderabad: The matter of cheating with the staff of Waqf Board in the name of providing permanent employment and PRC has been taken to the police. Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Asadullah sent a letter to Nampally police and requested to conduct enquiry into the matter. Interestingly the complaint was lodged with the Nampally police two years ago but the matter was suppressed.

According to sources, a former warden of Anees ul Ghurba had collected Rs. 1.60 lakh from 3 temporary workers belonging to Nizamabad promising them permanent job and Pay Revision Commission. On the non-fulfilment of promise the said workers brought the matter into the knowledge of higher officials of Waqf Board and a case was registered in 2014 with Nampally police. The said warden was suspended from the job of warden.

According to sources using sources he stopped the police enquiry and made the file out of reach of higher officials. However on the complaint of missing of file, Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board somehow recovered the file after reviewing the file decided to lodge complaint with the police.
