Complaint lodged against attack on Muslim prisoners

Hyderabad, February 7: A written complaint has been lodged against the attack on Muslim inmates of Cherlapally jail. According to details a written complaint has been lodged on February 4 before inspector Kushaiguda through Cherlapally jail superintendent against the attack on Muslim prisoners in Papagni barrack on January 31.

Muslim prisoners alleged that additional inspector general, Venkateshwar Reddy, deputy jailor Srinivas Reddy, Director general jail Gopi Reddy, Jailor Hanumanth Rao, Pikshamia, Sunil, Mahadev Naik who are jail warders and other 60 jail staff with a plan to kill them severely assaulted Kaleem, Khwaja, Haji, Mahmood Baroodwala earlier and when others reached there after listening their shouts and screams they made sudden attack on them too. They took refuge in jail barrack to prevent themselves from jail staff firing.

The 22 Muslim prisoners appealed in a written complaint to provide them life security under constitution of India and take action against the guilty jail staff.
