Complaint of lack of accommodation at Hajj house

Hyderabad, July 28: Andhra Pradesh state Hajj committee in a meeting on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for Hajj 2011 and discussed various important matters. The meeting of state Hajj committee was held at hajj House Nampally on Wednesday presided over by Hajj committee chairman Mr. Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed. The meeting dwell upon the matter that this year due to setting up of various new departments there will be shortage of accommodation for Hajj aspirants. As a result accommodation for only 400 to 500 Hajj aspirants can be arranged.

The Hajj committee members expressed concern that the 4th, 5th and 6th floor of Hajj house which was earlier empty are now occupied by the offices of mass marriage committee, waqf advisory section and Minority Finance Corporation.

The meeting sanctioned separate passport section at Hajj house for the convenience of Hajj aspirants. Mr. Mohammad Husain engineer stressed the need for installing a generator at Hajj house and since the water enters into the dining area in case of rain he urged to make proper alternate arrangement.
