Compensation to Muslim youths fulfills one recommendations

Hyderabad, December 09: The recommendations of the Central Minorities Commission were received by the Govt. of A.P. in the month of August itself. The Central Minorities Commission had instructed the Govt. of A.P. to constitute State Minorities Commission. After the award of compensation to the Muslim youths, some political leaders are also welcoming this announcement of the Govt. of A.P. and they are declaring it as a historic decision. These are the same leaders who have made every possible effort to blame the Muslim youths.

They had challenged the appointment of Advocate Commissioner on behalf of State Minorities Commission. In addition to it, they had instructed the Cherlapally Jail Staff not to allow Mr. Ravi Chandran to meet these Muslim youths imprisoned there. When Mr. Ravi Chandran played a key role in exposing the facts, some ministers misled the CM’s office saying that he should keep quiet on the action taken by the police.

They had also tried to prove that the movement started to support these innocent youths by Urdu newspapers as false. The representatives of Urdu newspapers went to Cherlapally Jail to know the facts. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan had impressed upon the present Central Minorities Commission to implement the report of the State Minorities Commission.

As the member of National Integration Council, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan raised this issue in its meeting and presented it before the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

Chairman of Central Minorities Commission, sent a letter to CM of A.P. and sent its copies to Principal Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare Govt. of A.P. and Mr. Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin Quadri of Help Hyderabad.

Mr. Habeebullah visited Hyderabad and met the victims and recorded their statements in the presence of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan. On 2nd August, the report was reviewed by the Central Minorities Commission and which its recommendations to the State Govt. for taking action against the police officers who opened fire and arrested Muslim youths after Makkah Masjid bomb blast.

The second recommendation was to provide Govt. jobs to these youths commensurate with their qualifications and experience. The third recommendation was about deducting the compensation from the salaries of the police officers who implicated these youths in fake cases. Govt. has implemented only me recommendation. The other five recommendations are yet to be implemented.
