Companies reward Prince Dance Group

Orissa, August 26: With the poor and self-trained 26-member Prince Dance Group turning celebrities after winning ‘India’s got Talent’ television show, several companies have come forward to reward the group.

Angul-based Kansu Properties and Consultancy Private Limited, a real-estate company plans to provide a 2000 sq ft housing plot to the group at Puri.

“We will provide a plot to the group,” said chairman of the company Binay Dash at a felicitation at Gopalpur, about 15 km from here today.

The plot valued at about Rs.2.20 lakh would be given at Bishnunagar in the pilgrim town, Dash said.

The RSB Group, which manufactures auto parts and heavy engineering components, gave Rs.10 lakh.

“The Prince Dance Group has made Orissa proud and will set an example for the upcoming Oriya talent”, said its managing director S K Behera.

Meanwhile, non-resident Indians in USA and France have invited the group to stage shows.

“They have invited us to perform, but the date is yet to be fixed”, said Krishna Mohan Reddy, the group leader said.

Chief Cinister Naveen Patnaik has already announced assistance to the group.
