New Delhi: Imam of Asansol Masjid, Maulana Imdadul Rashidi had appealed the Muslims for peace and harmony after his 16-year-old son became a victim of violence which was triggered during Ram Navami processions in West Bengal.
Applauding Imam’s peace appeal, Mr. Sanjiv Bhatt, Ex-IPS Officer tweeted, “If the Nobel Peace Prize could be awarded to an entire community, my vote would go to the Indian Muslims. Whatever semblance of communal peace we see in India today, is wholly attributable to their deliberate refusal to react to the vilest form of prejudice and hatred possible”.

It may be mentioned that Congress President, Rahul Gandhi on Saturday also praised the Imam and Yashpal Saxena from Delhi.
pic.twitter.com/5smEqBm8gK
