Mahboobnagar, February 7: Muslims can gain political power and stability only through separate Telangana state. Muslims are not minority but majority. Muslims have been a part of all social and welfare activities since independence till today but it is unfortunate that all political parties have been using Muslims as their vote-bank. Telangana Praja Front chief Gadar expressed these views while addressing a grand public meeting at Town Hall ground, Mahboob Nagar.
During his speech Mr. Gadar said Muslims had the ratio of 40% in employment in 1956 and today the number of Muslim employees is less than 2%. The opportunists of Seemandhra plotted against them and pushed them backward on educational, economical and political levels and barricaded economic route for Muslims. Mr. Gadar welcomed the people who traveled from far off places to attend public meeting conducted on the topic of “Muslims’ battle for separate Telangana” and declared the meeting a slap on the face of those who proclaim Muslims anti Telangana.
Chief Guest Mr. Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan managing editor Siasat daily who arrived here on the invitation of Muslims of Mahboob Nagar said during his speech “Today planned conspiracies are being hatched to weaken Muslims economically. Two lakh crore worth waqf properties have been illegally encroached upon.”
Mr. Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan exhorted Muslims to realise their value and not to become the tool for opportunists. He claimed that Muslims today possess the position of Kingmaker but some parties and leaders just for the sake of their personal gain have kept Muslims backward amassing their votes. Despite a considerable Muslim population in Mahboobnagar no Muslim could become MLA during the period of 30 years. He asserted that Muslims have lost their unity by splitting into political parties our unity is the surety for success. He asserted.
