Hindu residents in Bihar’s Nalanda set perfect example of communal harmony.
According to ANI reports, the local Hindus of Mari village took care of a mosque in the absence of Muslim residents who have left the village.
At the right hour, the fellow Hindus also played azaan with the help of pen-drive that guides them through the process.
Not just that, they also maintain the mosque by painting the walls, sweeping and mopping the premises.
While speaking to ANI, one of the locals said, “It is a very old mosque. There are no Muslim residents here now. So Hindus take care of the mosque. After a wedding, newly-weds come here first to take blessings.”
