(Siasat News) Govt. has constituted a special committee under the stewardship of the Chief Secretary of the state to promote I.T. Industry. Suggestions and plans of the industrialists would be considered by this committee to improve the Information Technology resources in the state.
It was disclosed by Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister of Information Technology, Govt. of A.P.
Earlier, a delegation led by Mr. V. Rajanna, President I.T.I.T.E.S. Industrial Association had met the minister and put forth certain suggestions.
Mr. Ponnala Lakshmaiah told that so far, A.P. stands fourth in the entire country in I.T. Industry with a turn over of Rs. 50,000 crore annually. Steps are being taken to get first place to the state. Incentives would be offered to industrialists and employment opportunities will be generated which would lead to economic development of the state.
