A 3-member legal advisory Committee led by former High Court Judge, Justice Vaman Rao has been formed in connection with the protection of Waqf properties. The other committee members include former District and Session Judge Mr. E Ismail, former District and Session Judge Mr. Syed Abdullah.
Special Officer Waqf Board Mr. Jalaluddin Akber convened a meeting with the committee and reviewed strategy regarding effective follow-up of the cases pending with various courts regarding Waqf.
