London : Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out any plans to step down from the post despite receiving a flurry of criticism from fans following the club’s dip in form this season.
The Frenchman’s job came under severe pressure after Arsenal’s exit from the FA Cup and the Champions League.
The Emirates Stadium club have won only one of their last four league games, consequently putting them 11 points adrift of surprise leaders Leicester City.
Insisting that he was fully committed towards Arsenal, Wenger stressed that he would give his absolute best as long as he remains at the club, the Guardian reported.
The 66-year-old admitted that he felt extremely disappointed to face unrest from the fans, especially when his side had fought hard to win the games.
Wenger, however, said that he would focus on doing his job devotedly and try to put his knowledge for the benefit of the team.
The Wenger-led side, which are currently third in standings, will next lock horns against Watford on Saturday. (ANI)
