Commercialization of Education condemned by Satavahana VC

Vice Chancellor of Satavahana University, Prof. K. Veera Reddy told that there should be a change in the educational system in view of the modern competitive world of emerging technology. He was addressing a seminar on “The role of standardization in Education” at SRR Govt. College, Kareem Nagar. He advised the Govt. to take necessary steps to raise the standard of education in Universities. He further told that the students of today should be trained in such a way that he should prove to be an asset to the nation. Aacharya Ch. Sanjay, Principal of Gitam University, while addressing the seminar told that the Govt. should make an attempt to raise the standard of education in universities. Prof. J. Srivastava of University of Hyderabad told that if the standard of education in universities is raised, the economic sector of our country will not lag behind. He informed that out of 650 universities, more than 70% have less than 90% standard of education which is very serious. Mr. Madhu Sudhakar Reddy, Principal of SRR Govt. college told that it is the responsibility of all the educationists to raise the standard of education. Prof. Badiuddin of Women’s Degree College Principal, Dr. Ramesh, Dr. Sultana, Mr. Lateef Ahmed, Mr. Zaheer Ahmed and others were present on this occasion.
