Commercial complex adjoining Hajj House to be soon exempted from building fee

Government has announced to exempt 7-storied commercial complex adjoining Hajj House from the building fee. This will enable Waqf Board to save almost 4.07 crore. This would be the first state of art commercial complex constructed by Waqf Board which can increase considerable revenue for the Waqf Board.

It must be noted that Waqf Board decided to construct 7 storied building on the land adjacent to Hajj House and it spent a total of 11 crore rupees so far. 7 floors of the building are complete however interior work is yet to be completed.

Meanwhile Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation issued notice to the Waqf Board seeking Rs. 4.6 crore as building fee. Special Officer Waqf Board Mr. Muhammad Jalaluddin Akber made effective representation with the government as a result chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao announced to exempt Waqf Board from building fee.
