Comedian Katt Williams arrested

Washington: Comedian Katt Williams has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a driver in Portland, Oregon.

The comedian was arrested by Port of Portland police and has been booked for misdemeanor assault. His bail’s been set at $2,500, confirmed TMZ.

The police said the car driver had swelling and cuts on his face.

Williams who immediately left in another vehicle has been charged with assault in the fourth degree. An arraignment has also been scheduled. He also was arrested for an out-of-state warrant, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

The Emmy-award winning comedian had come to Portland to perform on Friday night in Nick Cannon’s “Wild ‘N Out” comedy improv show.
