Minister for Excise & Prohibition, Sports & Youth Services T Padma Rao today conducted a high-level review meeting of Sports Department at his Chambers in Secretariat
The Minister reviewed sports infrastructure availability in the State, number of Sports Complexes, Indoor stadia, outdoor stadia in the State. He directed the officials to focus on to make talent hunt program from district to State level. Nurturing the hidden talent of sportspersons and encourage them from grass root level was also identified to project at high level.
The Minister instructed the officials to come out with comprehensive plan for development of sports in the State and the amount needed to be completed in Telangana State. Govt Advisor B.V. Papa Rao, Sports Secretary B. Venkatesham, SATS Chairman Venkateshwar Reddy, SATS MD Dinakarbabu, OSD S.M. Rajeshwar Rao and other officials also attended. (NSS)
