Colors to launch two new shows from Jan 12

Mumbai, January 05: One of the most popular Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GEC) Colors today said it will launch two new daily soaps that will replace reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4’ which ends this week.

‘Phulwa’ and ‘Mukti Bandhan’ will be aired in the 9 to 10 pm prime time band from January 12.

The serials will take the viewers to two extreme worlds with stories that pan out from one end of the spectrum to another – an 11-year-old playful girl living in the ravines of Chambal (‘Phulwa’) to the plush lifestyle of an egoistic top-rung 50-something businessman in Mumbai (‘Mukti Bandhan’), Ashvini Yardi, Head (Programming), Colors told reporters here.

She said ‘Bigg Boss 4’ has helped the channel grab eyeballs and it plans to sustain the same and take it to the next level.
