The piercing cold wave sweeping most parts of Himachal Pradesh further intensified today as minimum temperatures plummeted across the state.
The mercury dipped three to five degrees Celsius in most places. It stood at minus 8.6 degrees in Keylong, minus 3.5 in Manali, minus 2.2 degrees in Kalpa and zero degree at Una and Solan.
Sundernagar and Bhuntar reeled under biting cold as mercury hovered around freezing point at 1.0 degree and 1.
