Hyderabad, December 19: Cold wave sweeping the entire state intensified last night pushing the mercury down to 3 degrees. As the cold wave intensifies in the evening residents prefer to remain indoors. Yesterday Medak was found to be the coldest place of the state where minimum temperature was recorded 8 degree Celsius.
The capital city Hyderabad too observed a sudden fall in the temperature with a 3 degrees drop from usual temperature.
The minimum temperature recorded in Hyderabad was 10.4 degree Celsius.
Cold wave will continue for the next few days.
The lowest ever temperature recorded in Hyderabad was 6.1 degree Celsius on January 8, 1946.
And the coldest ever day of the state was December 17, 1897 when Nizamabad’s temperature was recorded 4.4 degree Celsius.
