Cold wave continues in districts of AP

Cold wave is continued for the past few days in Hyderabad and various districts of Andhra Pradesh. Adilabad continues to be the coldest place of the state where minimum temperature is 8 degree Celsius. Cold weather prevails in Hyderabad and Secunderabad for past one week. Roads wear a deserted look, particularly during the night hours due to severe cold. People were seen warming themselves around fire lit to beat the cold at railway stations, bus depots and other important places. Sale of winter clothes is on the rise in the twin cities. Outbreak of cold cough and fever is reported in some parts of the city. Doctors have advised to keep elderly men, women and young children warm. According to Met. Department cold wave conditions would continue to prevail for the next two days.
