Even as Delhi continued to reel under severe cold wave, there will be no respite from the weather conditions as mercury is expected to dip further in the coming week.
According to the Met Department, the first day of the coming new year is expected to bring rains and dense fog is likely to continue till January 4.
Delhi continued to shiver under biting cold on Sunday as the national capital witnessed lowest temperature in the last five years at 2.6 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal.
At least 55 flights and 80 trains were delayed due to dense fog.
Three homeless people have reportedly died on Sunday in different parts of the national capital.
