Dubai, March 31: As part of its commitment to the local community, Starbucks is hosting free career guidance sessions in collaboration with education counsellors from Intelligent Partners.
Every Sunday from 11am to 3pm, Starbucks stores in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Hamdan Street (ECT, Abu Dhabi) will provide the venue for students to obtain relevant information about studying abroad, the various programmes offered and work prospects. Students will have the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with career counsellors who will help them choose a programme that meets their personal career and life goals.
Rana Shaheen, Regional Communications & CSR Manager for Starbucks MENA, said: “We are very excited about this career guidance project and our partnership with Intelligent Partners. We are looking towards reaching more and more students and providing more information so that they can be better prepared for studying abroad — making international education accessible for all. Empowering youth and supporting education are a key priority for Starbucks.”
Sanjeev Verma, managing director of Intelligent Partners, said they were proud to be working with Starbucks to help students achieve their goals. “Come to Starbucks, enjoy a coffee and let us guide you and your parents through the entire process of selecting colleges, applications, visas, educational loans and all other necessary paper work.”
Students can visit their nearest Starbucks store to receive more information about the career guidance sessions, dates and times.
