Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 Years for Deputy Director, 30 Years for Field Officer.
Qualification and Experience:
Deputy Director (Development) ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Plant Sciences (with working experience of plantation tree crops) from a recognized University or equivalent;
2) 07 Years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in agriculture development with particular reference to coconut crop.
Deputy Director (Marketing) ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent.
(2) 07 Years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years should be in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in Marketing/ Processing of Agricultural Commodities and in Market Intelligence/ Market Surveys and Market Promotion activities.
Field Officer ->
(1) Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a pass in the Certificate/ Diploma course in Agriculture/ Horticulture conducted by the Rural Institute/Horticulture or Agriculture Department or equivalent with 2 years experience in Agriculture/ Horticulture operations including supervision.
(2) Knowledge of the local language where the farm/ office is located.
Application Fee: ₹ 100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) fee drawn in favour of the Chairman, Coconut Development Board
payable at Kochi. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from payment of fee subject to submission of attested copy of the SC/ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority. Women candidates of any category are also exempted from payment of fee.
