Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy,CM of AP thanked Dr. Manmohan Singh and Ms Sonia Gandhi. For allotting 701 million tones of coal blocks to AP GENCO.He told that the allotment of the coal blocks in larger quantity is a great success of the state.On account of this allotment the state will be able to produce 4000 MW electricity.AP GENCO had represented coal ministry for the allotment upto 31st December. The Ministry of coal allotted these blocks on the recommendations of Sarah Paul,Noah para coal block ministerial committee. It is said that after NTPC and Oddisha, AP is the largest allottee of Coal.
