Hyderabad: Mr. A.K. Khan, IPS (Rtd.), Advisor to Govt. for Minority Affairs inaugurated the first batch of the coaching program for the candidates taking Civil Service Examination in 2018. This batch contains 105 students. Coaching will be offered for 15 months.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of MANUU president over the function. Mr. G. Shudheer, IAS (Rtd.), Chairman, Commissioner of Inquiry for Minorities was the Chief Guest.
Mr. A.K. Khan in his speech told that last year 9.63 lakh students took these examinations but only 1000 were selected. Highlighting the importance of Civil Service, Mr. Khan told that the topper of Civil Service Examination, Mr. Agarwal left the lucrative job of Rs. 6-7 crore per annum in Hong Kong and joined the Civil Service. He further said that Govt. does not want to lose talented youths. It offers them better service through this test.
Dr. Amerullah Khan, Director of the Civil Services Examinations Academy told that the process of admissions was started in March which has been completed now.
