UP CM Yogi Adityanath says ‘will visit masjid if I get invitation’

Lucknow: In an interview, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that he will visit masjid if he gets an invitation. He also said that he doesn’t have any objection in visiting anywhere.

In India TV’s “Aap Ki Adalat”, he said, “I don’t have any objections in visiting anywhere. I visited Gurudwara on Prakash Utsav”. Responding to the comment, “Despite one year of BJP rule in UP, he did visit any Masjid”, he said, “If I get an invitation, I will visit”.

When the statement of SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, “Yogi visited Mathura, Ayodhya but did nothing for the city. I invested Rs. 2000 cr for the roads in Mathura” was quoted, he said if this is the fact then why BJP is winning the seats in these cities. He further said that SP doesn’t want to say the truth. He also defended the induction of senior Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agrawal into the BJP.

Commenting on law and order situation in the State, he said, “Those who were committing crimes are now working”. During the interview, he also spoke on Ram Mandir, banning of loudspeakers at religious sites.
