AP Police Officers’ Association thanked the Chief Minister of A.P. Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy for taking positive steps on the recommendations made in the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Director General of Police regarding the welfare programmes for the benefit of Police employees.
Mr. K. V. Chalapathi Rao, President, Mr. P.R. Rajender Kumar, State General Secretary, told that the Director General of Police had recommended that the loan amount of the children of the police employees going abroad for higher studies was raised from Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh, the fees of the students of medicines and engineering was enhanced from Rs.one lakh to three lakh at 8.5% interest, health protection scheme was recommend for physically handicapped and ex-gratia in cases of missing persons and suicide cases was provided and personal loans through banks were arranged.
Necessary orders have been issued covering all the above-mentioned facilities.
