AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today visited the model Srivari Temple got up at PWD grounds here put up as part of the Krishna Pushkaram.
The chief minister was received at the model temple entrance by the TTD chairman Dr Chadalawada Krishnamurthy and JEO K S Sreenivasa Raju with traditional Ishtikaphal kumbha. He was also accorded prasadam of Lord after darshan of the Lord Venkateswara in the model temple.
The chief Minister was all praise on all the arrangements made by the TTD for sake of the Krishna Pushkaram at Vijayawada and also lauded the TTD staff for their contributions in facilitating the devotees. He also enquired on the distribution of Anna Prasadam for the Pushkaram pilgrims at all locations. He also released 36 booklets published by the TTD on the occasion of the Krishna Pushkarams.
Among others who participated in the event were Additional CV&SO Sivakumar Reddy, SE Sudhakar Rao, Exe Engg Nageswara Rao, CEO of SVBC Narasimha Rao and OSD of publications Sri Prayaga Ramakrishna. (NSS)
