BJP senior leader and former minister Bandaru Dattatreya has alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was using officials as placards.
Talking to the media at his party office here on Sunday, he alleged that the Chief Minister was using the ACB for political purposes. He said that Kiran was following the footsteps of late Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the transfer of officials. He questioned the CM to explain why Prasada Rao was appointed as the DG of the ACB.
Referring to Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao shedding tears on Telangana in the Rajya Sabha recently, Dattatreya said that he should instead go to his party president Sonia Gandhi and beg her to bifurcate the State.
Referring to the criticism being leveled against the BJP by the TRS, he said that TRS was worried that it would have no future if BJP won the Parakala seat. Alleging that the TRS was diluting the Telangana movement willfully, Dattatreya said that his party would pinpoint the mistakes being committed by the TRS in the Telangana movement in the Parakala campaigning. He also claimed that the main contest in Parakala would be between the TRS and the BJP. He sarcastically said that the TRS was suffering from the BJP phobia.
It may be recalled that Dattatreya had expressed his anger on TRS for calling his party a communal organization, on Saturday. He said that it was strange that TRS, which was aligning with Muslim League and MIM, was calling the BJP a communal party. He said that Telangana State would be possible only through the BJP. (NSS)
