CM urges Chidambaram to delete 14 F

New Delhi, July 01: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday stated that he has appealed to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to delete the 14F clause from the Presidential Orders to include Hyderabad in the VI zone.

Talking to media persons after emerging out of meeting with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, the Chief Minister stated that he had appealed Mr Chidambaram delete Clause 14 F from the Presidential orders and make Hyderabad a no free zone to protect the interests of Telangana people.

Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy further said that the Centre would take appropriate decision on Telangana at the appropriate time.

He said that he had requested the Centre to extend loans to women with less interest. The Chief Minister added that the government would provide loans to those Mahila Sanghas which promptly repay loans. Besides this, the Chief Minister also sought Rs 100 crore from the Centre to establish a Rs 400 crore women’s bank in the state.

Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy disclosed that he had requested Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to grant recognition to Medical College in Kadapa and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Srikakulam.

As expected, Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy revealed that he had requested the Centre to accord National Project status to Polavaram and Pranahita-Chevella projects.
