CM unveils Komaram Bheem statue–To visit Adilabad today

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today unveiled a statue of tribal leader Komaram Bheem who fought for Jal (water), Jangal (Forest) and Jameen (Land), at Raikal in Karimnagar district.

The chief minister is expected to pay a visit to Adilabad district to lay a foundation stone for 600 mw power plant to be coming up at Jaipur on March 3 according to information. In Karimngar district today, the chief minister laid the foundation stone for construction of a Girijan Auditorium, and an education building under the China Jeeyar Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR assured that the Government would ensure that there would be no –power cuts by 2017. He said that after completion of IAS and IPS officials allocation to the State, Jagtial would be made a District. R and B roads in the district would be completed with Rs.10 crore and Panchayati road with Rs.five Crore. .

Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Union Tribal Welfare Minister Joloram, China Jeeyar Swamy, Minister Chandulal, MP Kavitha, Chief Whip K Eshwar, MLAs S Satyanaryana, Vidyasagar Rao, Shobha and Rasamayi Balakishana were present.(NSS)
