CM talking about BCs 15 months before polls: VH

Questioning Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao whether he was thinking about BCs 15 months before the elections, AICC secretary V Hanumantha Rao today criticized the former for inducting only four BCs in his Cabinet.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, VH alleged that the Chief Minister had given five berths to his community people in the cabinet adding that Nizamabad MP Kavitha was behaving like an unofficial Minister in the State. He demanded that the Chief Minister increase the BC quota in his cabinet to nine if he was sincere towards BCs. Accusing the Chief Minister of indulging in vote bank politics in the name of BC Declaration, VH said the Chief Minister’s plan would not work.

VH also pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already declared that the reservations should not cross 50 percent. Objecting to Chief Minister speaking about Creamy Layer among the BCs, VH alleged that KCR was giving top priority to leaders of his community. He also alleged that KCR was indulging in caste politics for the sake of 2019 elections. He warned KCR that the people would teach a fitting lesson to his party in the elections. (NSS)
