CM in Srikakulam for three-day Indiramma Bata from Friday

On his second leg tour of the “Indiramma Bata” programme, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would launch various programmes in Srikakulam district from Friday (July 27) to Sunday (July 29).

According to a media release by the Chief Minister’s Office, Kiran Kumar Reddy would arrive at the R&B Guest House, Srikakulam from Hyderabad via Visakhapatnam at 10.00 am on Friday. He will inaugurate the Akkulapeta Lift Irrigation Scheme at Mandali and interact with farmers 10.30 to 11.00 am. He will also interact with the farmers of Vonigedda Ayacut and participate in the farming operations at Peddapeta/Kondapeta village of Burja Manal. Later, he will interact with the SHG members on Indira Kranthi Patham at Palakonda.

The Chief Minister after lunch at Palakonda will arrive at Addakulaguda village of Seethampeta Mandal and inspect Indira Jala Prabha block and interact with the beneficiaries. He will interact with the ST families at Peddarama village. He will have dinner at AP Tribal Welfare Residential School, Malli, Seethampeta Mandal and have night halt.

Kiran Kumar Reddy will visit the Weavers’ Colony and interact with the weaver families at Kaguvada, Pathapatnam Mandal from 10.10 am to 11.00 am on Saturday (July 28). He will lay the foundation stone for Government Degree College and CP road improvement and address a public meeting at Pathapatnam. He will inspect the offshore reservoir works and interact with the PDFs at Pattupuram Junction. After lunch, he will arrive at Ramakrishnapuram village of Palasa Mandal and interact with the cashew farmers. He will also interact with the housing beneficiaries at Pedda Tamarapalli Housing Colony of Nandigam Mandal.

The Chief Minister will visit the Model Colony at Singupuram from 6.00 to 6.30 pm. He will meet the senior party leaders at the R&B Guest House at Srikakulam and will have night halt.

The Chief Minister will arrive at the A.P. Social Welfare Residential School, Srikakulam Mandal and have breakfast with the girl students there from 9.15 to 9.30 pm on Sunday. He will inspect the medical wards at RIMS and review the developmental activities with public representatives and district officials at Zilla Parishad. Later, he will address the media. After lunch, the will inaugurate local programmes from 3.00 to 3.30 pm at the Zilla Parishad. He will later leave for Vishakhapatnam by helicopter and leave for Hyderabad by a regular flight.

It may be recalled here that the Chief Minister launched the Indiramma Bata programme at East Godavari district from July 14 to 16.

The State Government launched the “Indiramma Baata” programme to ensure that benefits of all the welfare programmes reach the deserving poor in the State. The programme involves the Chief Minister, Ministers and elected representatives who will go to the village and personally interact with the people regarding the programmes and enquire whether they are reaching them.
