Telangana Congress leader Mallu Ravi today charged the TRS Government with negligent attitude towards the Junior doctors’ strike.
Talking to mediapersons here, after holding talks with the striking medicos, Ravi accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of failing to resolve their demands. “If the CM remains adamant, the problem will escalate and will show its impact on the patients”, he warned.
Extending support to the medicos’ just demands for permanent jobs and one-year rural service, Ravi appealed to the CM to behave like father of a family and call a meeting of the Junior doctors to find an amicable solution. The strike is not just for their demands, but it was showing adverse impact on thousands of poor people. If the government finds a solution, the poor will get better medical services at the hospitals, he noted. (NSS)
