Bangalore, November 08: With the internal crisis in BJP’s state unit having blown over, JDS chief H D Kumaraswamy today asked Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to immediately get back to flood relief and rehabilitation work, saying the operation was badly affected due to the wrangling.
“From day one I have been telling them this is not the time to create unnecessary problems. I had requested both groups to sort out their problems and try to concentrate on flood relief work,” he told PTI.
He said the BJP was involved in a “big drama” for the past 14 days, resulting in a waste of valuable time, which should instead have gone towards providing relief to flood victims.
Taking a dig at the Yeddyurappa government, he said it was not enough to simply lay foundation stones and make promises for building houses, but to expedite the work.
