CM serious about resolving Muslim issues – Mohammed Saleem

Hyderabad: A delegation led by social and welfare development of India and Anjuman-e-Qadria met Mr. Mohammed Saleem, TRS MLC. He applauded the initiative taken by Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily for 12% reservations for Muslims and said that CM of Telangana, Mr. KCR is serious about resolving Muslim issues. No ruler exhibited this kind of seriousness in the past. During the Congress regime, 5% reservations announced by Dr. YSR was challenged by the BCs in High Court which was set aside. The then Govt. had to knock the doors of High Court for providing 4% reservations to Muslims. If TRS Govt. makes an announcement for providing 12% reservations  for Muslims, it would face legal complications in the court, for which Mr. KCR is not prepared.

Mr. Saleem further told that Mr. KCR is seeking opinions and suggestions from his advisors to do justice to the Muslims so that any decision taken in this regard should not face legal complications. He also told that Mr. KCR is a seasoned politician who maintains no difference in his words and deeds. He is making an attempt to fulfill the promises he made during his election speeches for the benefit of Muslims, Dalits and other backward classes. Govt. of Telangana is preparing a plan of action to give equal shares to all the sections of society in the progress of the State.
