Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy presented proposals to 14th Finance Commission for getting financial assistance from it for the state to the tune of Rs 30,425 crore. He also requested the panel of finance commission to relax the rules for grants.
In a memorandum presented to Chairman of 14th Finance Commission, Dr. Y. Venugopal Reddy, the C.M complained that the Central Govt.has made it difficult to get grants by putting many conditions.
It is creating problems in implementing the developmental schemes in the state.He also demanded the centre to give 40% of the shares from Central taxes.
