CM rubbishes charges of Jagan as ‘baseless’

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday rubbished the charges of YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy that the state government, the Congress, the TDP and the CBI have hatched a conspiracy to arrest him in 3-4 days as `baseless’ and `far from truth.’

Talking to media persons as part of by-election campaign in Tirupati Assembly constituency, Kiran Kumar Reddy stated that Jagan has lost his mental balance fearing of losing in the by-elections and made this statement out of desperation.
Stating that the elections in the country were conducted by the Central Election Commission, Kiran Kumar ridiculed Jagan for not knowing the established procedures in the constitution of India.

By making such controversial statements, he said that Jagan wants to postpone the by-elections in the state.

Responding to Jagan allegation that the Congress party colluded with Telugu Desam party in deferring the by-elections, the Chief Minister said that it was never possible for him to align with his arch rival TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
He demanded Jagan Mohan Reddy to explain the people of state over his alleged accumulation of thousands of crores of rupees illegally.

Earlier, former municipal chairman of Tirupati Shankar Reddy joined the Congress party in the presence of Kiran Kumar Reddy.
