Senior Congress leader and MP V Hanumantha Rao today requested Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to provide free boarding and lodging facility to Civil Services candidates, belonging to SC, ST, BC and minorities, who will appear for interviews in New Delhi. In a letter to Chief Minister, copy of which was released to media here, Mr Rao said most of the candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC and minorities are with rural background and financial constraints. They may not be in position to meet the expenditure towards their boarding and lodging during their stay in Delhi from March 19 to 24. Mr Rao said the help in this regard will go a long way in enhancing their confidence and will yield good results in their examinations and also help these weaker sections to rise to the occasion to join the main steam of the society.
