Hyderabad: TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today gave clarification to Election Commission on his alleged remarks hurting the sentiments of Hindus in a public meeting in Karimnagar.
The TRS Chief has to give a reply as sought by EC on Friday by 5 pm. The EC served a notice to the Chief Minister followed by a petition by VHP State leader Rama Raju that the former hurt the sentiments of the Hindus in the poll campaign in Karimnagar.
KCR sent his reply in a sealed cover about the meeting and his speech. On his behalf, the Chief Minister sent MLC Narsimha Reddy and Additional Advocate General Ramachandra Rao. They submitted the CM’s copy of reply to additional CEO Jyothi Buddha Prakash in Secretariat here.
