Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday relieved 11 ministers from the post of Districts’ In-charge.
The Ministers who have been relieved include Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy, Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy, Major Irrigation Minister
Sudarshan Reddy and Minister for Rural Development D Manikyavara Prasad.
The other ministers who were relieved from the post are Satrucharla Vijaya Ramaraju, who is incharge for the International Bio-diversity conference to be held in October,Galla Aruna Kumari and Vatti Vasanth Kumar, who are busy with arrangements in World Telugu Conference to be held in Tirupati and Danam Nagender, who is also
heading the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee.
The Chief Minister took this step following an appeal reportedly made by the ministers themselves to relieve them from the District In-charge posts due to other works.According to CMO sources, the government is likely to issue a GO in this regard soon.
