CM refuses to convene special session of Assembly: YSR Congress protests

(Siasat News) MLA of YSR Congress Party met the C.M. of A.P. Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and demanded to convene a special session of A.P. Assembly to pass a resolution in favour of integrated Andhra Pradesh state but Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy refuse to do so. Later on the MLA of YSR Congress party stage dharna infront of CM’s office in Secretariat yesterday. They were holding placards in their hands. Police arrested and shifted them to Saifabad police station.

Ms. Shuba Nagi Reddy alleged that CM is shedding crocodile tears for integrated A.P. He is functioning as the agent of Congress President, Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Had the CM been a strong supporter of United A.P., he would have convened the special session of A.P. State Assembly to pass a resolution in favour of integrated A.P. He is adopting a dilly-dallying policy. Had he convened Assembly meeting and passed a resolution in favour of integrated A.P. The Telangana note would not have been approved by Cabinet Committee. She said that it is not too late even now. She demanded the CM to convene the meeting of A.P Assembly before the draft resolution of Union Cabinet is sent to it for seeking its concerned. In this way the process of formation of separate Telangana state could be stopped but the CM is not ready for it.
